Juanita Gensel Obituary

Juanita Crisp Gensel, 85, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her home after years of declining health. She was born November 13, 1936 in Graham County, North Carolina to the late Clyde and Vida Crisp. Juanita was a member of Hocutt Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry Gensel; children: Sandra Wolfe and Brian Gensel; sisters: Jerri Nichols and Gondi Chilton (Lance).

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:45 pm at the funeral home.

A private burial will take place at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
