He was predeceased by: his parents, G. H. Poole and Mary Hester Poole; his siblings, Cindy, Thomas, Virginia, Robert, Magdalene and Marie; his daughter-in-law Donna; and his daughter Jenna Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rogers Poole; his children, Joseph "Joey" Poole (Donna), Daniel "Danny" Poole, Belinda "Cookie" Perry (Jerry Covington) and Kimberlee "Kim" Poole; his grandchildren, Danielle Joyner (Courtney), Amanda Ray (Brandon), Davis Poole (Rebecca), Deena Scott (Derek), Hannah Ure (Matt), Lindsay Poole and Charlie Poole (Julie); his great grandchildren, Austin, Cameron, Landyn, Carter, Dylan, Avery, Caison, Levi, Grayson, Wyatt and Elijah; his siblings, Billy Poole (Sandy) and Peggy Hessman; and his extended family, Kim, Glenn Mitchell, Amanda Danielle, Lindsay Dimmette, Josh, Toni Mitchell, Mikayla, Michael Kaczmarczyk, Brooklyn, Marlie, Karson, Kinsley, Saylor, Cherie, Jonah Johnson, Alycen, Zeke, Kaycie Tart Price, Lisa Walker and Nadia Turner.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545).
