He was predeceased by: his parents, John Starkweather and Shirley Starkweather. He is survived by: his wife Janette Austin Starkweather; his children, John Starkweather (Sarah) and Joy Starkweather (Jeff Morris); his grandchildren, Zoe, Izzy Starkweather and Gavin Morris; and his siblings, Cary Klingensmith (Paul), Linda Pope (Larry) and Cindy Stancil (Ron). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Jeff's wish were to continue to be useful after his death and desired to make an anatomical donation of his body to further the education of students.
