He was predeceased by: his brother William Denton (Brent). He is survived by: his parents, William David Denton and Peggy Broughton Baines; his wife Mindy Fridley Denton; his son Joshua Denton (Audrey) of Roanoke Rapids; his granddaughter Nadia Romero Shepard; his sister Aleta Denton McCord; his stepsister Wendy Crawford; and his brother Travis Denton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
