She was predeceased by: her father Archie James Montague; and her son Joshua Garland Gropp. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Ed" Nold Gropp, Jr.; her sons, Matthew Nold Gropp and Justin Edward Russell (Julie); her grandchildren, Marin Russell, Madeleine Russell, Maggie Gropp, Hunter Gropp and Miles Gropp; her sisters, Nancy M. Massey and Sue M. Carpenter (David); her nephew Allen Massey (Lorie); and her nieces, Kelly Ennis (Jeremy) and Holly Martin. She is also survived by grand nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
