It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Turner White Jr. (Knightdale, North Carolina), who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Turner White, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Brown White; his children, Nathan Watkins and Tiffanie Thomson (Ryan); his grandchildren, Keaton Armstrong, Dash Watkins and Jayden M. Redman; and his sisters, Nora W. Mayo, Mary W. Matthews, Winnie W. Stephens (Bob) and Sarah W. Brickell (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Jimmie was like a father figure to me. I met Jimmie around 2002 when I was a sophomore in college and would bring my car to White Wall. Jimmie and his team were amazing. I occasionally brought in Bojangles biscuits to thank them for their kindness. I kept taking my car to White Wall until the shop was sold. Jimmie met my kids and consoled me after losing my parents and brother. He spoke highly of his family and I wish you had gotten more time. He was a good good man. ~ Kara Faulkner Rouse”
