He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Weathers and Virginia Poole Weathers of Knightdale; his pet Little Buddy; and his friend Willie Nelson Weathers. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Blanton Weathers; his daughters, Melinda Weathers and Jennifer Weathers (Todd Dryden); and his sisters, Gail McAlister (Tommy McAlister) and Janet Wokasch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
