He is survived by: his mother Clara Faye Eddins Tyson; his wife Shelly Parham Tyson; his children, Wesley Tyson of Raleigh, Katie Tyson of Knightdale and Cassie Tyson (Zachary Huffstetler) of Charlotte; his grandsons, Silas, Solomon and Lucas; his brother Joey Tyson (Sabrina) of Beaufort; his niece Caleigh Tyson; and his nephew Allen Paugh.
