We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 63, James William Summer (Knightdale, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Thomas O'Topping Summer; and his brothers, Gil Summer and Dan Summer. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Summer, Katherine Summer (Ryan) and Savannah Smith (Timothy); his grandchildren, Kayden, Levi, Rhett, Daisy, Holly, Henry and Hayden; and his siblings, Melissa Summer, Lavonne Summer and Wesley Summer (Sheila).

In lieu of flowers, he supported "Wounded Warriors and "Tunnel 2 Towers" organizations.
