Stewart (Patricia) of Wendell and Joseph K. Joyner (Dorothy) of Clayton; and his brothers, Robert E. Stewart (Delores) of Raleigh, William A. Stewart and Jerome M. Stewart of Knightdale. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
