He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wooten and Lorene Martin Wooten; and his stepson Hunter Akard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Potter Wooten; his son Chris Wooten (April); his stepson Darryl Blake Akard of Clayton; his siblings, Louie Wooten (Norma) and Anne Williams; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Neal Wooten Jr. (Sara), Keirstin Wooten and Tristin Akard; his great grandchildren, Lacy D. Jones, Christopher Neal Wooten III, Destani Cowan, Aria, Maya and Central Baptist Church; and also Rita Massey.
