She was predeceased by: her parents, Helena Schokle and Anton Neff; her brother Jacob Neff; and her granddaughter Jade Barefoot. She is survived by: her husband Andy Barefoot; her children, Reece Barefoot (Renee) and Rita Gomillion; her grandchildren, Zach Barefoot, Riley Gomillion, Parker Gomillion and Sydney Barefoot; and her siblings, Anton Neff (Vicki), Verena Maurer (Kevin) and Rita Patten.

In lieu of flowers, Helen requested that memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at donate.lovetotherescue.org.
