We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2023, at the age of 94, Frederick Lorenzo Hopkins (Knightdale, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Robert Hopkins; his former wife Katherine Anne Wall Hopkins; and his siblings, Mack of John, R. B., Harley, Joe Hopkins, Sybil Hopkins Ellis, Erdis Hopkins Hunkin and Garnetta Hopkins Pearce.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Herring Hopkins; his daughters, Melodie Smith (Jerry) and Jennifer Berry (Greg); his stepchildren, Jeff Peele (Dawn) and Phyllis Neal; his grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Michael Smith, Luke Smith, Nathan Berry, Dillon Berry, Matthew Neal (Morgan), Christie Amburn (Nathan), Christopher Peele (Brenda), Derek Neal (Bailey Purdue) and Connor Bright (Bella Scaturro); and his sister Mildred H. Wall. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
