He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Victor Steidl; and his wife Mary Sarti Steidl. He is survived by: his mother Feida Desport Steidl; his son Eugene "Coach" Steidl; his grandchildren, Makenzie Steidl, Kolby Steidl and Regan Steidl; and his brother Robert Steidl.
