He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Hargett Alphin, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Clay Heath Alphin (Melyssa); his grandchildren, Dale Alphin Mogensen (Christian), Katie Joyce Massey (Grant), Mackenzie Lynne Alphin and Korah Elise Alphin; his great grandchildren, Caiden, Mallory, Reese, Marshal and Johnny; and his brothers, J. H. Alphin III and Duke Alphin.
