With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Parrish (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Maggie Anderson Green; her husband John Bruce Parrish; and her siblings, Preston Green, Dorthea Green and Easter Loveday.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Payne (Eric) of Raleigh, Donna Ferrell (Bobby) of Zebulon and Edward Parrish (Cindy) of Zebulon; her grandchildren, Trae Myers (Katie), Kelly Payne (Casey), Stacy Upchurch (Jake), Michael Perkinson, Charles Perkinson, John Parrish (Rebecca) and Lilly Parrish; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Camden, Caleb, Riley, Alexa, Jayden, Justin, Luis, Kevin and Caterina.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Knightdale Baptist Church, P.O. Box 21, Knightdale, NC 27545.
