It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Ernest Woodard (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Walter E. Woodard, Sr.; and his sister Nancy Adamets (Woodard). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Woodard; his children, Brian Woodard (Rachel), Susan Felmet (John), Heather Salyer (Michael) and Stephen Woodard (Erika); and his brother Walter C. Woodard Jr.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Fund at Friendship Baptist Church or The Durham Rescue Mission, in Don's honor.
