It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Fairbanks (Knightdale, North Carolina), who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Fairbanks, Jr.; and his brother Damian Fairbanks. He is survived by: his girlfriend Robin Jackson; his girlfriend's children, Amanda, Brandon and Hayley; his mother Carol Fairbanks; his sisters, Catherine Baker, Cynthia Lape, Carin Fairbanks Arena (Matthew) and Shelley Fairbanks (Jerome Young); his nieces, Nicole Baker, Kelly Geraci (Michael) and Maryssa Saavedra (Jay); his nephew Justin Lape; his great-nieces, Skylar Sternagle and Adalina Saavedra; and his great-nephew Javi Saavedra. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Foundation for Shackelford Horses, Inc. 306 Golden Farm Road, Beaufort, NC 28516 in memory of David.
