We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Clarence Millard Cates of Knightdale, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jones Cates and Rena Berry Cates; and his brother Henry Lee Cates. He is survived by: his wife Martha Puryear Cates; his children, Linda Blanchard (Don), Bobbie Watson (Mathew), Jerry Dale Cates and Craig Wayne Cates (Melinda); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, Emily, Derrick, Patrick, Carrie, Dylan, Evan and Ellis. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to Wake County EMS or The Veterans Of Foreign Wars (VFW).
