She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin N. Yates and Iva Games Yates of Deltaville, Virginia.; her son Clifton Yates House; her son-in-law Wilbur A. Massey; and her sister Renell Y. Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia H. Massey of Chapel Hill; her daughter-in-law Nancy Arnold House of Knightdale; her grandchildren, Will Massey (Emily), Wes Massey (Marianne), Eric N. House (Jessy) and Kristie H. Lawrence (Andy); her great grandchildren, Cindy Lynn Hodge (Christian), Leighann Massey (Joey Dickson), Katie Beth Massey, Trey Massey, Alex Massey, Van Lawrence and Kaleb Tedder; and her niece Tamara Yates. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or a charity of your choice.
