It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ronald Coates (Knightdale, North Carolina), who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Leonard Coates; his brother Ralph Coates; and his fiancé Shannon Lovelady. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Simpkins Riggs; his daughters, Ashley Coates and Taylor Coates (Frankie); his grandson Bentley Daoust; his brothers, Ricky Coates (Sheila), Randy Coates (Emily) and Robert Coates (Pam); and his pet Zeus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family, friends.
