She was predeceased by: her father James Garland; and her brother Wayne Corbett Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Charles W. Creech; her sons, Terry (Shannon) of Charlotte and Tobias Abrahmsen (Marina) of Sweden; her grandson Kristoffer Abrahmsen; and her siblings, Larry Johnson (Arvilla) of Campo and Rebecca Miller (Harlan) of Danville, California.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in Carmen's memory to Watkins Chapel Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
