Burwell Baker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burwell Baker (Knightdale, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Burwell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Burwell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Furney Baker and Sallye Baker; and his brother Furney Baker, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Baker; his son J. B. Baker II (Courtney); his grandchildren, Keenan, Campbell and Hudson Baker; and his nieces, Charlene Davis (Joe) and Susan Marler (Gary). He is also survived by 3 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (4301 Louisburg Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604).
