He was predeceased by: his father Alvin L. Reid Sr.; his former wife Helen Lewis Reid; and his brothers, Anton Reid and Bill Reid (Elizabeth Reid). He is survived by: his wife Doris Propst Reid of Zebulon, NC; his children, Al Reid III (Colette) of Richmond, VA and Anita Reid Coen (Floyd Hack) of Caneyville, KY; his grandchildren, Kristen Reynolds (Scott), Lucy Reid, Karen Akins (Nathan), Alex Flores and Eliana Akins; his sister Iris Cheek (Alan); and his sister-in-law Jean Reid. He is also survived by loving children, grandchildren, and their spouses, Al is survived by many nieces and nephews.
