With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Marable Pope (Kitty Hawk, North Carolina), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Marable and Caroline Tuck; and her sister Carol Pugh. She is survived by: her siblings, Leon Marable (Gail), June Milligan (Bob) and Gail Hurst (Herb); her sons, Larry Benjamin Pope (Trish), Joseph Christopher Pope (Brandy) and Timothy Tuck Pope (Crystal); her grandchildren, Deanna Williams (Adam), Alexandra Pope, Austin Pope (Shannon), Kadin Pope, Bryan Pope and Angelica Pope; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Logan, Kyler and Christian. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
