He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Mann; his daughter Debbie Norris-Hamblen; his son-in-law Scott Hamblen of Kitty Hawk, NC; his granddaughter Heather Ulrich; his grandson-in-law Joshua Ulrich; his grandchildren, Destanee, Westin, Corbin, Jasmine and Beckett of Wendell, MN; his great grandchildren, Austin Munno of Wilmington, NC and Anderson; his granddaughter Jordan Serrano; his grandson-in-law Luis Serrano; his great grandchildren, Mason, Mia and Cameron; his daughter Kim Miriani; his son-in-law Dave Miriani of Shelby Township, MI; his grandson Tyler Gunthner; his granddaughter-in-law Emily; his great grandchildren, Eden and Leah of Washington, MI; his granddaughter Madison Mosher; his great grandchild Isaac (Zach Walker); his granddaughter Maria Mariani; his great grandchildren, Benicio, Oliver, Harrison, Liliana, Ryan Henry of Macomb, MI and John Ross; his daughter Tammy Norris of Norfolk, VA; his granddaughters, Lyndsey and Sydney Morris of Virginia Beach, VA; his son Chris Norris; his daughter-in-law Dianna Norris of Royal Oak, MI; his son Tyrone Norris; his daughter-in-law Julie Metz of Belleville, PA; his granddaughters, Ruth Thompson of Belleville, PA and Isabelle Norris of Elkhart, IN; his sister Sandra Mann of Kitty Hawk, NC; his pets, Tucker, Nyla, Bower, Knox, Beaux, Pluto and Maggie; and also Liz Miriani.
In honor of his memory and his love for the Outer Banks, the family asks that donations in his memory be made to either the National Park Service, Outer Banks Group (http://www.nps.gov), or the American Stroke Association (http://www.stroke.org) in honor of Michael K. Smith, in lieu of flowers.
