She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hoggard and Hattie Smith Hoggard; and her sister Bertha Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Christy Dawn Tucker (John) of Katy, TX, Charlie Moore of Chesapeake, VA and Bryan Moore (Angela) of Chesapeake, VA; her siblings, Paulette Towle (Glen) of Elizabeth City, NC and Curtis Hoggard (Kelly Chelf) of Elizabeth City, NC; and her grandchildren, Bryan Moore, II, Ryan Tucker and Alyssa Tucker.
