It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Timothy Muir of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, born in Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Tyler Muir and Muriel Louise Rogers Raper. He is survived by: his wife Emma Pridding Muir; his daughters, Jessica Leah Muir of Manteo, NC and Heather Renee Cater (Joseph); his sister Debbi Dinsmore of Elizabeth City, NC; and his grandchildren, Isis, Brenna, Silas and Aubree.

Memorial donations may be made to Kitty Hawk Fire Department, 859 West Kitty Hawk Road, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949.
