She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Hardy Perry of Kitty Hawk and Eva O'Neal Perry of Kitty Hawk; her husband David "Paul" Pruitt Jr.; her son David Leon Pruitt; and her siblings, Norman Lee Perry, Leola Perry Toler and Reda Perry Midgett.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Pruitt (Bo) and Mike Pruitt (Antoinette); her daughter-in-law Beckye Pruitt; her grandchildren, Paul Pruitt (Dolly), Callie Pruitt, Hannah Cresimore (Kevin), Jeremy Pruitt (Sarah), Perry Pruitt and Taylor Pruitt (Dakota); her great grandchildren, David Pruitt (Lexus), Sean Pruitt, Emma Pruitt (Joshua), Hudson Cresimore, Jackson Cresimore, Logan Cresimore, Olivia Pruitt and River Payne; her great great grandchildren, Adeline Pruitt and Elizabeth Pruitt; and her sister-in-law Melba Scarborough Perry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church (803 W Kitty Hawk Rd, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
