She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peyton Howell and Mary Elizabeth Moss Howell; her husband Paul Loften Preddy; and her son Paul Jeffrey Preddy. She is survived by: her children, Carol P. Smith (Charles) and John W. Preddy (Donna); and her sister Nell H. Hart. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
