He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Daniel Clifford Sr. and Sarah Averett Clifford. He is survived by: his wife Joann Danks Clifford; his children, Michelle Clifford Spiers, Norman Daniel "Danny" Clifford III and Christopher John "Chris" Clifford (Michele); his grandchildren, Michael Spiers, Matthew Spiers, Sarah Clifford, Cody Clifford, Nicole Clifford, Kelly Clifford, Katie Clifford and Krissy Clifford; his stepgrandson Andrew Messiano; and his siblings, Peggy Voepel and James S Clifford (Phyllis). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
