He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wesley Allison and Ida Selma Buchanan Allison; his wife Mary Ann Beal Allison; his stepchildren, Melissa Nowell (Don) of Roxboro, Jackie Cornish (Nick) of Kittrell and Dennis Watkins (Tina) of Wilson; his sister Ruth Cromer of Florida; his close friend Kaye Stark; his siblings, Larry Allison, Charlie Allison and Alene Allsion; and his stepson Robbie Watkins. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
