She was predeceased by : her parents, James Henry Abbott and Ida Kearney Abbott; her husband Forrest Dallis Owen, Sr.; and her son Jimmy Owen. She is survived by : her children, Ann Owen VanZandt (Billy) of Kittrell and Forrest Dallis Owen, Jr. (Donna) of Charlotte; her brother James Vernon Abbott (Shirley) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Holly Owen LiVolsi, Kevin Dallis Owen (Misty) and Kristen Owen Compton (William); and her great grandchildren, Joseph LiVolsi, Dominic LiVolsi Brianna Compton, Mason Compton and Walker Compton.
