With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Henry Solomon Jr. of Kittrell, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Solomon, Sr. and Ruth Baker Matthews; and his brother-in-law Richard Bell. He is survived by: his wife Monica Kilpatrick Solomon; his children, Maghan Ruth Solomon Hughes (Kyle), Shannon Foy Leaf (Adrian), Patrick Sean Foy (Dawn), Colleen Garten Gershey (Josh), Brian Garten and Christopher Garten (Martin Majewski); his grandchildren, Dyllan, Quin, Madison, Ella, Austyn and Benjamin; and his sisters, Louise Solomon Lamm (James) and Connie Solomon Moss (Ernest).
