He is survived by: his children, Frances Waddle Dement and James G Waddle III (Tonya); his grandchildren, Madison Waddle, Hunter Dement, Faith Dement, Hope Dement and Kelsey Waddle; his sisters, Sue Palmer (Leroy) and Pondra Ayler (Joe Dale); and his close friend Dollie Stafford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
