He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sledge Gillis; his children, Lori Gillis Duke (David) of Youngsville, Steven Bryant (Lezlie) of Virgilina, VA and Nicki Stoner (Bert) of Willow Springs; his grandchildren, Nicholas Duke, Conner Bryant, Jacob Stoner, Griffin Bryant, Ryleigh Bryant and Carley Stoner; and his siblings, Randy Gillis (Rebecca), Cathy Carland and Landon Gillis (Janet).
