It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Wilson Sr. John (Kittrell, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Dickens Wilson and Nathaniel Edward Wilson; his wife Eunice Shearin of Littleton; and his sister Marie Wilson Stoupa. He is survived by: his sons, Dale E. Wilson (Rosalie) of Henderson, Monte L. Wilson (Audrey) of Las Vegas, Macy Neal Wilson (Myra) of Fayetteville and John D. Wilson, Jr. (Joann) of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Darrien Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson and John D. Wilson, III. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and close family friends.
