We bid farewell to Claude Lyle Kerley Jr. of Kittrell, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Claude Lyle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Claude Lyle shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Claude Lyle farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cassie Earline Woodlief Kerley and Claude Lyle Kerley, Sr.; and his sisters, Mary Francis "Pat" Merritt and Ellen Carole Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Barabara Davis Kerley; his sons, Claude Lyle and Kerley, III (Andrea) of Henderson; his granddaughters, Makenzie Ann Kerley and Danika Faye Kerley; and his brother Winston Kerley (Phyllis) of Kittrell.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kittrell Baptist Church (100 S William St, Kittrell, NC 27544).
