She was predeceased by: her parents, Higgs Jones and Grace Jones; her husband Troy Clinton Jackson; her son Michael Troy Jackson; her grandson Jeremy Riddle; and her brothers, Fred Jones, Sherwood Jones and Charles Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Phipps (Michael); her grandsons, Michael Ray Jackson of Angier and Nathan Wayne Phipps of Kipling; her daughter-in-law Doris Capps Jackson of Durham; and her sister Mildred Johnson of Fayetteville. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
