She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Black, Jr. and Bessie Marie Turlington Black; her husband Edward Brian Collins, Sr.; and her siblings, Billy Black, Ronnie Black, Sandra Page and Betty Lou Clack.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Brown (Bodie), Brian Collins, Jr. (Shelby) and Lynda Gardner (Schel); her grandchildren, Michael Weaver (Jessica), Danna Wilson, Michelle Gardner (Danny), Meagan Gardner, Dylan Gardner and Willie Bethune; and her sisters, Brenda Sue Yarborough and Lynda Ann Black. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
