He is survived by: his mother Helen Baker; his sister Lorie Hales of Kipling; his sons, Daniel Baker Jr. of Stella and Andrew Baker (Brittany); his grandsons, Rhett and Graylon of Four Oaks; his nephew Stephen Hales (Hallie); his great-niece Sawyer; his great-nephews, Maddux and Maverick of Lillington; his nephew Chris Hales (Stephanie); and his great-nephews, Christopher, Cody and Caleb of Lucama. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

“I found out late about Danny's passing. My condolences to Helen, Lorrie and the whole family. We used to hang out a bit in our teen years, I wish we'd have stayed more in touch.
