William Earl Phillips Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 81, William Earl Phillips of Kinston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Phillips and Mildred Phillips; his brother Bruce Phillips; and his former wife Dorothy Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Phillips; his mother-in-law Betty Valenti; his sister Helen Pase (Raymond); his children, Kirk Phillips (Kathy), Wanda Smith (Johnnie), Janine Mattocks (Terri), Marlene Pitts (Jeff) and Angela Towne (Josh); his grandchildren, Ashley Deaver (Josh), Ethan Pitts (Jennifer), Eric Pitts (Sydney), Benjamin Pitts (Heather), Caleb and Andrew Towne; and his great grandchildren, Briley, Avery, Kenly Gunner, Mattocks, Jenna, Connor and Everly. He is also survived by his grandchildren and all of his adopted grandchildren at the Broyhill Baptist Children.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Howard-Carter Funeral Home (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504).
