He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Knapp and Mildred Sutton Knapp. He is survived by: his sister Betty Knapp Stanley (James); his nieces, Donna Eason (Rodney) and Jaime Stanley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandie Hadding (Alex), Kirsten Barfield, Joshua Stanley and David Twiford; and also, Lincoln and Hampton Hadding.
