He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Hill of Kinston; his brother Wayne Tucker; his parents, Herman Tucker (Bill) and Emily Whitehurst Tucker; and his stepmother Francis Earl Tucker.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Tucker (Libby Tucker) of Lenoir, Marjorie Smith (Terry Smith) of Tampa and Clayton Tucker (Gilda Tucker) of Wilson; his children, Debi Jackson (Mike Jackson) of Charlotte, Dennis Tucker and Scott Tucker (Cindy Tucker) of Ayden; and his stepdaughter Lisa Lang (Eddie Lang) of Kinston. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM.
