She was predeceased by: her husband Willard C. Stallings, Sr.; her sons, Willard Stallings, Jr. and Dennis Wayne Stallings; her granddaughters, Michelle Katzenberger and Lynn Allison Rhodes; her parents, Dave Carter and Molly Carter; and her siblings, Ray Carter, Kay Mobley and Ruby Houston.
She is survived by: her son Albert Ray Stallings (Laura); her children-in-law, Joyce Stallings and Neal Rhodes; her grandchildren, Willard Stallings (Paige), Jonathan Stallings, Jeffery Stallings (Stephanie), Dennise Stallings, Scott Stallings, Erica Blalock (Ed) and R. J. Smith; her great grandchildren, Seth, Sarah, Samantha, Shane, Jordan, Nick, Bryant, Jonah, Alexus, Corbin, Harrison, Bailey, Mason and Rowan; her great great grandchildren, Brayden, Jensen, Nevan, Anakin, Oaklyn and Theo; her brother Larry Carter (Glenda); and her caregiver Lavon Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church (285 Camellia St, Kinston, NC 28504). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Dr, Kinston, NC 28504).
