He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Gertrude Turner Taylor; his wife Peggy Ann Wilson; his granddaughter Sara Beth Webber; and his siblings, Allen Taylor, Woody Taylor, Pearl Greene and Grace Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Taylor (Carol) of Gardner, Thomas R Jr. Taylor (Betty) of Cove City and Jan Andrews (Jerry) of New Bern. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Shriners Children Hospital, a cause close to Thomas' heart.
