It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sudie Mae Newkirk (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Smith, Ernestine Sloan of Kinston and Betty Jean Dixon of Raleigh. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
