She is survived by: her husband Raeford Lane Whitley, Jr.; her children, Lisa Diane Creel (Bobby), Leslie Danielle Bird (Doug) and Raeford "Rae" Whitley, III (Kelli); her grandchildren, Dylan Davis, Melanie Davis, Lauren Davis, Kylie Taylor, Logan Whitley and Landon Whitley; her brother Elwood Jarman, Jr.; her father-in-law Raeford Lane Whitley, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Gena Scherber (Helen Hooker).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howard - Carter Funeral Home (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504). A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
