She is survived by: her husband Fred Evans; her children, Gayle Evans West of Kinston, Kimberly Evans Taylor (Bobby) of Kinston, Stacy Evans Morris (Bill) of Charlotte and Charles Fredrick Evans (Amy) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Tiffany Noelle Best of Havelock, Evan Lee Taylor (Jessie) of Kinston, Jacob Adam Best (Kimberly) of Kinston and Kelsey Taylor Tilghman (J. T.) of Kinston; her great grandchildren, Emerson Fischer Best and Finn Lewis Taylor of Kinston; and her siblings, Glenda Rouse Jenkins Kornegay (Frank) of Smyrna and Kendall Rouse (Sue) of Kinston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
