She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Casey and Luna Casey (Leslie Rouse); and her siblings, Bennie Casey, Freeman "Bud" Casey, Bobby Casey and Lula Clark.
She is survived by: her sister Emma Jett of California; and her close friends, Faye Davis of Kinston and Joyce Avery of Snow Hill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
